Hi, I'm Dominique!

Licensed Therapist and Founder of The Honest Conversation Counseling Services LLC providing mental health and holistic services in Atlanta, Georgia.

I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the illustrious Clark Atlanta University and my Master's degree from Grand Canyon University. In addition to my degrees I am certified in Reiki II Energy Healing and Prepare Enrich for Couples.

I utilize an integrative evidence-based approach when working with adolescents, adults, and couples to help clients navigate through various concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and more.

My theoretical concepts include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Solution Focused Therapy.

My specialties include but not limited to: Life Transitions, Mindfulness, Stress Management, Finding Your Purpose, Self-Esteem/Self-Worth, Anger Management, Pre-Marital/Marital, Grief, Divorce, Anxiety and Depression.

I believe that you cannot heal what you won't reveal and in our sessions, we integrate evidence-based practices and/or spirituality to welcome authenticity, exploration of the layers of self, and guidance to navigate through life difficulties.

As a New York Native, I have had the privilege to connect with diverse cultures and fully recognize the role of culture in shaping our identity and worldviews. As your therapist, my goal is to meet you where you are in your journey and help you strengthen your understanding of self, and serve as a guide to assisting you with your therapeutic goals.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy traveling, reading, photography, nature, painting, browsing through Target, and enjoying the simple things in life like spending quality time with family, friends, and my fur baby.
