Meet Dominique
I’m a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and founder of The Honest Conversation, where I offer a safe, affirming space for individuals and couples to heal, reconnect, and grow. I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I’m also certified in Reiki II Energy Healing and PREPARE/ENRICH for couples.
I support adolescents, adults, and couples through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. My integrative approach draws from CBT, EFT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and parts work, with holistic and somatic practices woven in.
I’m passionate about helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change—all within a space rooted in honesty, safety, and compassion.
The Honest Conversation Counseling Services, LLC is a therapy practice dedicated to creating safe, judgment-free spaces for real conversations about healing, growth, and self-discovery.
As a New York native, I value cultural identity, authenticity, and the power of honest dialogue. I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach—blending evidence-based practices and, when desired, spirituality—to help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions.
My mission is to help you reconnect with yourself, explore your truth, and recognize the power of God within you. When I’m not in session, you can find me traveling, creating art, spending time in nature, or enjoying life’s simple joys with loved ones (and my fur baby).
